About

Yvonne Bajela is the Founder and General Partner of Evertrue Capital.

She has spent more than a decade backing category-defining companies before consensus forms, including Wise, Marshmallow, Moove and Flutterwave.

She began her career at Goldman Sachs before joining Mitsui, where she became the youngest investment manager in a company of 90,000 people and led its investment in Wise, then TransferWise. She went on to become a founding member of Impact X Capital, co-leading the seed investment in Marshmallow, before joining LocalGlobe, one of Europe's leading seed funds, as a Partner.

Her career has spanned investing, operating and company-building across Europe, Africa and Asia. Across those experiences, one belief has remained consistent: the strongest signals are often found before consensus forms. In founders whose insight comes from unusually close proximity to a problem, whose ambition challenges conventional thinking, and whose potential extends far beyond what the market can yet see. That conviction became the foundation for Evertrue Capital.

Born in London with Ghanaian roots, Yvonne's career has taken her from Japan to Kenya, Israel, South Africa and beyond. Along the way, she has built networks across markets, recognised potential where others might not think to look, and helped ambitious founders build and scale across borders.

When founders need her, she shows up. If they don't, she's probably somewhere between a founder call, a long-haul flight and the next idea worth believing in early.
